

If you’ve never used Nutritional Yeast before, it’s time to try it! It gets its name because it’s full of nutrients (how can you not resist something healthy!). But that aside, it’s super unique in that it has a cheezy kind of taste and smell. Once you pair this with macadamias, you’ve got a vegan version of Parmesan Cheeze!
This Parmesan Cheeze can be used in recipes to add an extra ‘cheezy’ flavour.
I use it in my Zesty Cheezy Fettuccine and it just adds that extra flavour kick!

Vegan Parmesan Cheeze

Makes: Approx 1 cup.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup Macadamias, soaked for 12-16 hours then rinsed
- 3 tbsp Nutritional Yeast
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp Himalayan Salt
DIRECTIONS
- Blend all ingredients together in a food processor until chopped and well combined.
