Fudgey Choc Bliss Balls

Makes: Approx 10 balls.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3/4 cup Hazelnuts (or any nut) – Soaked in water for 6-10 hours
  • 2 cups Medjool Dates, pitted & halved – soaked in water for 1 hour
  • 3/4 cup shredded Coconut
  • 1 tbsp Coconut Oil, melted
  • 2-3 tbsp Cacao powder
  • 1 tsp Maca Powder (optional)
  • 1 tsp Agave Syrup (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Add hazelnuts to a bowl then add enough water to cover them, plus an extra 5cm. Soak for 6-10 hours
  2. Soak dates for 1 hour until soft.
  3. Add 1/4 cup of shredded coconut & the rest of the ingredients to a food processor and process until well combined. 
  4. Add the rest of the shredded coconut into a small bowl. Roll the mix into balls (about 2-3 tbsp) and coat them in the shredded coconut.
  5. Put on a plate and refrigerate for at least 1 hour until slightly firm.

NOTE:
These do not set completely firm, they’re slightly soft. If you’re wanting to make them firm, add more cacao powder, maca powder and/or a vegan protein powder.
